Buck Dodge of Spencer, New York has been pulling horses for 35 years.  In 2003 Buck competed with 6 horses in lightweight classes in New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan. On occasion we even get the pleasure of seeing Buck compete here in New England. He makes his living buying and selling horses and operating his tractor trailer.  Buck told us that the State Fair in Syracuse, New York is his favorite pull to compete at during the season. A regular participant at the big pulls in Michigan, Buck considers his second place finish in the lightweight class at the 1993 Nationals to be his most important accomplishment in pulling.
