Hampshire made quite a splash when he showed up new to the horsepulling
scene a couple years ago. He surprised quite a few of us that first season
when he showed up with a beautiful big pair of black Percherons who more then
held their own. It could be argued they were one of the top 5-6 big teams
in New England. Last year he added another heavyweight team to the barn.
This time a very strong and handsome pair of Belgians. And like the
Percherons they were very competitive. George owns the Taylor Paving
Company which is the name he enters his teams under. You can find him
competing throughout the states of New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts.
George says that what is most important to him right now in the pulling ring is
to remain consistent. If his first two years in competition are any
indication the Taylor Paving entries will always be tough to beat. |
