Marc
Hanna of Arundel, Maine considers himself
a relative newcomer to pulling having just gotten started 3 years ago after
hooking eveners and helping others for some time. Marc competes throughout
the State of Maine in the Sweepstakes distance classes with his two horses Ben and Cosmo.
Marc claims he doesn't have a favorite pull to compete in. As long as he
is pulling horses it makes no difference where it is. Marc pays the bills
by working for Corning Incorporated, a company specializing in cable & optics
and also does a bit of horse logging. He claims to learn a little
something every time out and hopes to pass it all on to his son Kyle who has
just started to hitch for his dad. Marc's goal is for his team and himself to
show improvement each season.
Marc competing with Ben &
Cosmo at the Skowhegan fair in 2003. He finished second out of eleven entries.
