Neal Slusher hails from Andover, Ohio and has been pulling horses for 30 years.  He competes with his pair of lightweight horses at horsepulls in NY, PA, OH, MI, ME, IN and KY.  The big pull each year at the Geauga County fair in Burton, Ohio is Neal's favorite place to compete each year.  He generally travels the circuit with Terry Smith.  Neal makes for tough competition wherever he competes no more evidenced then when he finished first in the lightweight class at the 1997 Michigan Great Lakes International.   The MGLI is considered one of the most prestigious pulls in the country and Neal considers that win to be his most important accomplishment in horsepulling.   Outside the pulling ring he owns the Slusher Lumber Company.  Also at the top of Neal's list of accomplishments is still being a married horsepuller to as he puts it, "the Woman".
