Ottawa Valley Horse Drawing Association list of Honorees

At our annual dance held on February 27, 1999, presentations were made as follows:

Irwin Stewart - Wakefield, QC - 55 years (1943-1998) and was presented with a gold watch with his name engraved on the back and also received a suitably engraved plaque.

Jim McCormack - Corbyville, ON - over 55 years (1939-1998) and was presented with a gold watch with his name engraved on the back and also received a suitably engraved plaque.

Clifford Manion - Peterborough, ON - 50 years (1948-1998) and was presented with a gold watch with his name engraved on the back and also received a suitably engraved plaque.

Stirling Laffin - Snow Road, ON - 50 years (1948-1998) and was presented with a gold watch with his name engraved on the back and also received a suitably engraved plaque.

Teamsters honored and recognized for their "faithful and continuous horse pulling" with an engraved plaque at our annual dance on Feb. 27, 1999

Donald Schultz - Pembroke, ON was presented with a plaque at our annual dance on Feb. 24, 2001 for 25 years of faithful & continuous horse pulling.

Yves Proulx - Renfrew, ON was presented with a plaque at our annual dance on Feb. 23, 2002 for 26 years of faithful & continuous horse pulling.

Robert Sarrazin - Low, QC 35 years of continuous horse pulling (1968-2003) was presented with a plaque at Metcalfe, ON horsepull on Oct. 5, 2003.
