James Scott of Slaughters, Kentucky
James Scott of Slaughters, Kentucky, passed away 02/23/12. He judged pulls with his buddy Barry Villines all over Kentucky and Illinois for years. He judged the Bluegrass Draft Horse and Mule pull all twenty years. Anyone that has ever attended the pull has seen him judge. He was a true friend and always a gentleman. An avid University of Kentucky fan, he also attended all of his grandson's basketball games. As James was losing his battle with heart disease his grandson Jacob was winning the district basketball championship. James is survived by a large and loving family. James we will miss you! Your friend, JoJo Duvall

My condolences to the family & friends of Mr. Scott. I had the pleasure of meeting him while attending the BDHMC. He did a commendable job judging the biggest pull in the country year after year. A real gentleman and an asset to our pulling family. He will be missed.
