Yoder & Hatfield put on quite a show at Fryeburg fair in Maine. I love seeing new teams roll into the north east and show what they can do.If your looking for a new experience in pulling come to New England!

Light's The "DOVE"S" Team of "BERT-BARNEY" are stout too. They set the record at Acme in the spring and won alot of pulls this summer.

hey peter do you say that about all the teams from new England that do not do the distance pulls.most teams from the other states besides maine don't do the distance pulls. I like the distance personally but most owners don't want to do the distance and 3 hours later do 12 or 15 foot pulls. its the owners choice.

Scott if the horses are condition for it they can handle it. If you check out some of the results from fryeburg you'll see some of the horses pulled both classes and did quite well.

slim I agree with you I like to see them do both.but peters comment seems to be a dig at terry for not doing the distance, saying they look good in their stalls, thats terry and chris's choice.

Gotcha! They did pull sunday i would say they were competitive for the first time doing it. distance pulling takes a completely different strategy that short pull and I guarantee that if they decided to pull competitively distance they would figure it out.

I guess they refused the test like a lot of other teams have in tje past. Still doesn't take anything away from them. Their horses pull hard an won the contest. An I'm willing to bet thataa lot of teams there woulda refused to be tested

Ok I'm really curious as to why the teams have the option to refuse a drug test in the first place?

Because at that pull the bounty is something extra that the association puts up to bring more teams in.. but at a state fair or any other big pull u don't have an option to not be tested

I'd bet on Barney and Bert to win acme again next year!!!!

My honest opinion the only thing they should test at a pull is ur power. Who cares about what someone else is using or what they are doin.. its like car racing! !!! Run what u brought! !!!!
