Whatever the reason he and his crew will be missed. Wishing all of them the very best of health and much happiness.

I was planning to retire quietly with nothing said. However there seems to be a fairbit of misinformation that Im hearing. So here are my reasons:
Im 66 this year, its become obvious to me that I dont react as quickly or am as strong as when I was younger. Im having to use use harsher bits than I used to.
I feel many times the horses havent let me down, rather I let them down. Ive never been hesitant to change out the”weak link” in our barn. I feel that now that weak link is me. Time to go. I love this sport, the equine athletes. Ive met so many great people. Thank you to everyone that had helped me over the years. There are far too many to list

SPOKEN LIKE THE TRUE GENTLEMAN THAT HE IS, I'VE ALWAYS ADMIRED THE WAY HIS TEAMS HAVE HANDLED AND I SAW MYSELF HOW HE HOLLERED WHOA BEFORE HIS OFF HORSE STEPED ON THE ROPE. HIS QUICK REACTION WON THE CONTEST FOR HIS TEAM. I AM NOW 90YRS OLD AND REALLY APPRECIATED THE OPPORTUNITY TO SPEAK WITH A PRO. HE WILL BE MISSED AND WOULD NOT BE SURPRISED TO SEE HIM COME BACK ONE DAY JUST TO PROVE AND MAKE A POINT.
