James (Marty) Weatherholt Jr. 61, of Grandview, Indiana passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.

Marty was born in Owensboro, KY on October 5, 1962, to James (Jim) and Mary Jo (Brown) Weatherholt.

Marty was a second-generation timber harvester and third generation horse puller. For a long time if he wasn’t in the woods, you could find him messing with his Belgian Horses. He would often take on tree trimming and cleanup jobs to help others. Marty enjoyed spending time with family and friends and relaxing with his dog and a cold glass of Pepsi or sweet tea.

Marty is preceded in death by his father James (Jim) Weatherholt.

Marty is survived by his mother Mary Jo (Brown) Weatherholt of Grandview, IN; son Heath Weatherholt of Jasper, IN; his sister Lisa Bettag (Darin) of Grandview, IN; Niece, Hanna Bettag and Nephew Caleb Bettag (Emma) both of Grandview, IN; and many loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and many friends.

Services are 2 P.M. Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, Indiana, with Pastor Tim Coomer officiating. Burial will take place at Grandview Cemetery, Grandview, Indiana.

Visitation is from 12 P.M. until 2 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
