Obituary for Roland “Rollie: H. Rabenhorst

Roland “Rollie” Hubert Rabenhorst, 79, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, July 11, 2022 in Fond du Lac. Rollie was born on May 17, 1943 in Maribel the son of the now late Leonard and Regina (Dobberpuhl) Rabenhorst. On June 6, 1964 he married Dorothy Miller in Manitowoc and the couple enjoyed almost 18 years together. Dorothy preceded him in death on March 10, 1982. Rollie enjoyed life with his horses and seeing his grandchildren and great-grandchildren whenever possible.
Rollie is survived by two sons: Carl (Dorothy) Rabenhorst, Fond du Lac, Dean (Sherry Petrie) Rabenhorst, Green Bay, three grandchildren: Joshua (Rachel) Rabenhorst, Gabrielle (John) Kremer and Michaela (Kyle) Heckel, six great-grandchildren: Haley, Owen, Harvey, Jackson, Rylee and Baby Heckel, brothers: Rich (Shiran), Fritz, John (Carolyn) Rabenhorst. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Dorothy; brothers: Carl and Joe, 3 nephews.
Gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Sepia Chapel, 3465 Finger Road. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Dave Hatch officiating. Burial at St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery, Maribel. A special thanks to St. Croix Hospice Team for their care in our home during his final journey.
